Distinguished Global Swede award to KAB-IFP fellow
On May 28, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Institute awarded the Global Swede award to 19 prominent international students at Swedish universities. For ten years, the Global Swede award has been awarded to active, committed and enthusiastic students who are excellent in areas closely related to innovation and entrepreneurship. This year one of the awarded students was the foundation’s KAB-IFP fellow, Quyen Nguyen. At the ceremony, which took place online, she received the award from Anna Hallberg, Minister of Foreign Trade and Nordic Affairs, and Madeleine Sjöstedt, Director General of the Swedish Institute. Among the participants were representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Institute and Swedish universities.
The purpose of Global Swede is to create cross-border and multicultural networks that will contribute to Swedish trade and the development of future solutions.
