The Karl-Adam Bonnier Foundation

The Karl-Adam Bonnier Foundation is an independent, non-partisan organization supporting the development of business in Sweden. Founded in 1986, the foundation has its origin in the financial lifework of entrepreneur Karl-Adam Bonnier. For more than 30 years, we have initiated change through constructive dialogue and exchange of knowledge.

As an entrepreneur I have witnessed an exciting time in business and finance in Sweden and I’ve been able to realize my entrepreneurial aspirations. That’s why I wanted to create a foundation that will support Swedish enterprise and benefit the country in a broader context.

Our purpose

The Karl-Adam Bonnier Foundation supports research and education in business administration and corporate law. Our purpose is to promote the development of business in Sweden.

For over 30 years, the Karl-Adam Bonnier Foundation has created an independent arena for constructive dialogue and exchange of knowledge among decision-makers and thought leaders in business, academia, and the public sector.

The foundation has three strategic forums, Forum for Innovation Management, Forum for Global Business and Corporate Governance Forum, focusing on various issues that affect the development of business. We also initiate and fund research projects, produce publications, and run the scholarship program Karl-Adam Bonnier International Fellows Program.
