Future societal leaders – part 2

Events

When we launch a research report, release a new book or celebrate an anniversary, we arrange larger events where we invite a wider audience with an interest in the topic.

At our events, we share new knowledge and initiate constructive discussions among experts and leaders with different perspectives on the current topic.

Salon debates

Our three forums regularly host moderator-led salon debates within their various thematic areas. The salon debates play an important role in broadening perspectives, arousing new ideas and igniting the spark of change. We ensure that there is always representation from academia, the private and public sectors to create a holistic understanding of the issue’s challenges and consequences. The invitations to our salon debates are personal and all guests represent themselves during the evening.

In all our debates, we apply the Chatham House Rules to ensure a climate of trust and courage to put forward and test new ideas. All guests are expected to take an active role in the conversation and are invited for their expertise in the matter. Dinner is always served in connection with the salon debate.

Roundtable discussions

The foundation arrange roundtable discussions on issues where there is a need for different actors to meet and exchange knowledge, in order to contribute to the development of business. At our roundtable discussions, 10-20 guests usually participate in a moderator-led discussion on a specific issue.

The roundtable discussions create a neutral arena for constructive dialogue where guests are given the opportunity to discuss common challenges and solutions during a pleasant dinner. We apply Chatham House Rules in our roundtable discussions and all participants have an active role in the conversation.
